And honestly, I’ve wasted thousands of dollars on various platforms, services and software and server licenses since 2016 to make my business vision a reality, but none of those investments offered any true value in return until last year.

Thus, I hope sharing this information of all the Software, Add-Ons, Services and Platforms I’ve used so far to get effective results might save you a lot of money and your precious time if you’re trying to start your own business in this Niche.

If you’re thinking to voice your opinion or if you’re thinking to start your own blog, then WordPress is the right platform for you.

 

 

WordPress is one of the best platforms I’ve used so far for website hosting. I’ve had my tech blogs on other platforms like Wix, GoDaddy, Hostwinds. But in all these years, I always ended up with some or the other issues with the service on these platforms. I’ve literally wasted a lot of time with the follow-up emails and calls with the concerned executives/professionals but somehow my issues were never resolved. But if you look at it in a positive way, it wasn’t that bad. I ended up learning all about web designing, development, hacking, troubleshooting and programming myself.

WordPress makes it easy to register a new domain, work on your registered domains if you already have one and connect the G-suite for email services. The platform lets you upload and embed media to your blog/website, has an auto-save that saves your hard work every now and then, so you don’t fear losing your quality content, as the platform does it for you!

 

 

You can send or share new posts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and add social tools to help readers share your content using this platform’s Built-In Sharing feature. Track the advanced stats of your work on the internet (visitors count, demographics, page search, search terms used and number of clicks). WordPress makes it damn easy for the fans and readers to find you with the built-in sitemaps and SEO tools.

 

So, with numerous features, I’m grateful to WordPress, specially their support team (HAPPY ENGINEERS), for their 24X7 dedicated support and commitment. It’s been a privilege and a great experience for me. 🙂

I use QuickBooks tool for my business literally every single day now. I’d invested lot of my savings on tracking all the relevant data. But after exploring, I’m satisfied with this tool, as it organizes all my data in one place in the cloud. So, I can keep a track of everything from anywhere, even from my phone! 🙂

I create and send invoices, keep a track of sales and revenue, get timely detailed information on Tax, Reports, Expenses and Online Banking. I’d recommend this one to everyone out there who’s looking for similar kind of tool for their business.

 

Spreadsheets and Records

Airtable is the best when it comes to putting life to the workflow blocks. This tool has amazing app-like functionality that you can mix and match to create the perfect workflow for your team.

From Marketing & Communications, to Project Management, to Creatives and to Product & User Experience (UX), this particular tool is really helpful and makes it easy for the humans, like us. 🙂
